The Restoration General - the basic concept has been to create a balance between the old and the new, the aesthetic and the practical. Working with the best professionals in Lanzarote and incorporating precious materials from Asia, have enhanced the beauty of this unique building.
The well known designer, Luis Ibáñez, and the architectural firm of Estudio 96 directed by Jose Maria Pérez, are just two of the many participants who have contributed during the past three years to bringing this great project to fruition.
THE CEILINGS - Three of the building's ceilings, which date back 300 years, are made of pine. Their restoration has proven slow and arduous but the results are impressive. The two upper storey ceilings are true reproductions in mulberry of the originals below and crafted by a carpenter from Teguise itself. More Details
